The UFC Vegas 69 event will be held on February 18, 2023, and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV. The main event of the night will be a five-round women’s flyweight match between Jessica Andrade and Erin Blanchfield.
Jessica Andrade, with a record of 24-9, stepped in as a replacement for Taila Santos, who withdrew due to personal reasons. In her last match in January, the former UFC women’s strawweight champion and flyweight title contender from Brazil, secured a win against Lauren Murphy via unanimous decision, marking her third consecutive victory. Andrade had previously submitted Amanda Lemos and TKO’d Cynthia Calvillo in the first round.
Erin Blanchfield, with a record of 10-1, recorded her seventh straight win after submitting Molly McCann in the first round of their November 2022 bout. The 23-year-old native of Elmwood Park, New Jersey had previously submitted JJ Aldrich in the second round and won via unanimous decision against Miranda Maverick.
In the co-main event, Jordan Wright and Zac Pauga will face off at light heavyweight. Wright, with a record of 12-4 and 1 NC, suffered his third consecutive defeat after losing via second-round TKO against Dusko Todorovic in October. Pauga, with a record of 6-1, suffered his first career defeat after being KO’d by Mohammed Usman in the second round of his UFC debut in August.
