Conor McGregor's long-awaited return to the UFC has been the talk of the town in the fighting world. The former two-weight world champion is set to face Michael Chandler in his first UFC fight in over three years. The bout is expected to take place after August, as McGregor will need to complete six months of mandatory drug testing before fighting again.

Fans of "The Notorious" are eagerly anticipating his comeback, with many wondering if the Irishman can still compete at the highest level of mixed martial arts. McGregor has certainly been in good spirits ahead of his return, joking that it's "too good to be true." Recently, he was caught on camera shadowboxing while wearing a suit in a video filmed at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, which only heightened the anticipation for his comeback.

Currently, McGregor is in Las Vegas filming for The Ultimate Fighter, a reality TV show that airs from May until August. This marks his second coaching stint on the show after previously coaching against Urijah Faber in 2015. The Ultimate Fighter is a hugely popular program and offers the Irishman the chance to showcase his coaching skills to a wider audience.

But McGregor's main focus remains on his upcoming fight with Chandler. The American fighter has made it clear that he is not intimidated by the Irishman's reputation and is relishing the chance to be in McGregor's company for several weeks before fighting him later this year.

"If he lands one on the button, it’s going to be a rough night for me," Chandler told ESPN. "If I land one on the button, it’s going to be a rough night for him, but which one of us can do it? I’m going to get in his face, make him take a backwards step right away."

Chandler added that he plans to assert his presence in the octagon early on in the fight. "He’s going to feel my presence from the very beginning of the fight, and then from there wherever the fight takes us," Chandler said. "If I want to pick him up and put him down, I can pick him up and put him down."

The fight promises to be an explosive showdown between two of the UFC's most talented fighters. McGregor's fans will be hoping that he can recapture the form that saw him become a two-weight world champion, while Chandler's supporters will be confident that he can cause an upset. One thing is for certain: the return of Conor McGregor to the UFC is a highly anticipated event that is sure to generate a lot of interest in the coming months.
